Mello is my 3 year old black cat. He has a long black tail and is much bigger and chunkier than all the other cats in the area. im afraid he’s hiding under someone’s porch or may be stuck in a fence somewhere. Please help bring mello ! He is a big fan of treats and toys!

First put out a big bowl of water. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck!

Have you walked around the neighborhood shaking his bag of treats and quietly calling his name ?? Have you put his litter box outside and something with your scent on it ? How did Mello get out of your house ?
