Message from Owner

Our little adventurer got out! Skittles was a stray that wandered up to our hse and has grown up with our kids. My oldest is autistic and this cat is his world. He walks on a leash, loves to roll in the dirt like a dog, and grooms my son while he does his school. We’ve gone out looking for him every day. Please help us find him. He’s got on a red collar with his name and our number on it.

Debbie Bonacker we are nomads and live in an RV. Unfortunately, I know he’s not scared lol he’s not hiding he is exploring. We usually take him for walks on a leash which he really enjoys and we had just decided on a GPS tracker for him when he shot out the door. We are returning to the same gas station every night and we walk around calling and shaking food but I’m not sure he’s still in the area. We’ve let the station attendant know and left our number but there’s not any houses just businesses and trucks.

Try putting your kitty dirty litter box outside or something that smells like your kitty so she can smell her way home. If you have a garage try leaving it cracked open enough for the kitty to come inside. Also try putting a smelly can of tuna or cat food outside. Cats hide in bushes, under decks, under vehicles and in sewers when they are scared. If you go out at night and shine a flashlight, your cats eyes will glow when you shine it in her eyes. Let your neighbors know your kitty is missing incase they see the kitty. **Also check local shelters daily!!!! **Also beware of Scammers!! I hope you find your kitty soon. 💜🐾🙏

Angela Sanders Harding there are no houses nearby. It’s just industrial and open fields.

Natalie Young we lost him at a truck stop by the interstate. He jumped out of our RV. There aren’t any houses nearby. We don’t live in the area and know no one. I’ve alerted the local shelter, and put out a post in the local lost pets FB page. We’ve been walking the parking lot and surrounding area multiple times a day.

An immediate and active search is key!! Look in every shed , wood pile , window well, under porches and decks !!!...even places you think a cat cannot get into!! Cats are usually scared and are going to stay close by. Especially if they are fixed !!Males are not going to want to roam and the females are not being chased further away by unneutered males!!! Ask around and knock on neighbors doors to see if there have been any sightings!! Have them check their garages, outbuildings and sheds! Talk out loud or sing and shake a bag of treats ...anything that provides comfort and that they may recognize!! No litter boxes or food that will attract other cats or predators!! Just an article of clothing that only your cat will recognize!! Share photos and COMPLETE descriptions!!--male/ female , fixed, microchipped, wearing a collar, has claws, cross streets where they went missing from... on social media, rescue groups and shelters!! Put up posters, if possible! These are general search tips meant to help reunite you and your kitty ! all may not apply in your situation Praying your kitty comes home soon and safe!!
