Put Joe’s litter box out if you can or a blanket with his scent on it or an item of clothing with your mom’s scent on it. Hope sweet baby Joe comes home soon!!! 💕💕💕

Being unfamiliar with the area, chances are he'll be hiding near by (6 house radius). Keep checking as scared kitty's can stay quiet and hidden for several days and often come out when its quiet out. Is he fixed with a tattoo? Indoor or indoor/outdoor kitty? Here's some tips you can try. Check under decks, sheds and bushes. Make sure your neighbours know in case he's shut into a garage, crawl space or shed - see if they can leave them open for awhile. Don't forget to look up high in case he was chased up a tree. Late evening, early morning - quiet times are great times to look. Don't yell for him (may scare him further), call in a normal voice. Read a book outloud or have a conversation outside with someone. Use a flashlight to look in dark spaces - his eyes may show up. Stinky food out WHEN you can watch it. Put something with your scent on outside. Put up flyers and posters, in case someone not on FB finds. I hope he's found soon.
