Olaf's Owner Says

Thank you so much to all that offered thoughts, prayers and assistance! It was a rough night but we found him about 10:00 on Wed night. He was cold, wet and tired but safe. Lots of love, cuddles and treats later and he is good as new. Hopefully it is a lesson learned - for all of us!

Go to all the pounds etc. DO NOT expect them to know if your dog is there from your description. YOU must physically go there every 3-4 days. Also while you are there, fill out a lost form and leave a good photo. Don’t rely on the form, YOU still need to visit every 3-4 days. Walk all kennels, adoptable and stray holds. Also please check Craigslist and anyplace someone would list a dog for sale. Also talk to everybody. The neighbors, church people, the police, mail carriers, delivery people. Everybody. Hopefully with photo in hand. Shared

I’m so sorry that you lost your dog. The dog didn’t get lost on its own. This occurs out of carelessness. So sick of people posting that their dogs get lost. No!!! It’s because people are careless and irresponsible and many should not have dogs. They don’t just go and open the door by themselves. I hope the dog is well and safe but perhaps if you get your dog back, you should be more responsible.
