How long have you been fostering Zorro? are you bonded? Did you see ZOrro escape or was there a door or window open more then 1.5 inches? If you didn't see Zorro escape and no window /door was left open then Zorro MAY BE HIDING INSIDE - they do this often - the best strategy is to put out WET FOOD outside the front door and inside WITH A CAMERA AIMED AT BOTH FOOD SPOTS and do NOT leave the assumed to be escape door open - because you must be 100000% sure Zorros escaped - I've had a foster cat hide for a week without coming to the food but did on night 7 on camera inside. Order 2 mini blink cameras on amazon for overnight delivery so you can set them up by tomorrow night. here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F3BC8661?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_Z3KAW52D0WNTXMR5QSD2 (any motion camera will work - mini blink camera will send any movement immediately to your phone. Once kitty is seen on camera coming to the food (outside) THEN you can plan to humanely trap the next evening - where you set a trap and watch from inside (window) or from your car if there is no window. 2 hours before every sunset place a cans worth of food in a bowl then place the bowl on a plate ADD water to the plate so ANTS cannot cross over and swarm the food. If another cat eats the food put out 2 cans worth - every kitty deserves help - good karma helping another cat along the way.
