Description

Black male, estimated to be 1-3 years old by vet. I got him TNR’d.

Message from Finder

He’s very sweet and wants attention from people. He willingly accepts petting and is calm. He has a sweet voice. He seems way too sweet and accepting of people to be feral. I’m afraid he might be lost. He has not been checked for a microchip. If you want to adopt him, that’s also an option. $40 fee for adoption to cover TNR

Thank you for caring! 🙏💜🐾🐾 ***Please contain kitty temporarily in a bathroom or bedroom or garage or basement away from your pets to keep safe until a safe home is found to keep safe from predators like coyotes or get hit by a car or something. If this is normally an inside kitty and someone dumped him then kitty won’t know how to survive outside. *** 🙏🙏🙏If you can’t help please ask someone you know like a neighbor or a friend or coworker to see if they can temporarily keep kitty until a rescue can help. ***Please give kitty some food and water! 🙏🙏🙏 Any vet can scan kitty free to see if she chipped to hopefully find its owner. If you don’t have transportation maybe a neighbor could to check for a chip. If no owner is found please reach out to rescues! **Unfortunately there are some bad people that will harm or use for bait for dog fighting or worse so be careful who you give this kitty to. ***🙏🙏Please reach out to rescues only on this list, not shelters because most shelters euthanize. 🙏🙏Also please reach out to rescues like Melissa Second Chance rescue in Shawnee if no owner is found. If red are full ask to be put on the waiting list and keep calling back because when cats gets adopted then more space opens up to take in more! ***Rescues don’t euthanize but most shelters don’t keep animals very long before having to euthanize and there is a difference! ***Please don’t take to a shelter please reach out to rescues!🙏

Margaret Gillerman Before catching this cat, I put notes on the entrances of the buildings (front and side) asking if the cats that hang out by the dumpster belonged to anyone or if anyone was feeding them. I included my number to text or call. I got responses of people saying they feed them, but they don’t belong to anyone. I had on the note that I wanted to do something about the cats but I wanted to know if they belonged to anyone first. I waited a while and then trapped cats by the dumpsters for TNR. So people were warned. And no one claimed ownership.
