Found a friendly gray cat in the West Huntington area. This cat appears to be full-grown and comfortable around people, so I strongly suspect they belong to someone. And because apparently my life requires this sentence: the cat literally came into my freshly-rented hse through a hole/opening in the wall in a closet… on the second floo. I have no idea how long they had access to the space inside/around the hse before making their grand entrance. I’m trying to find their owner rather than assume they’re a stray. If you think this may be your cat, please message me with a photo or identifying details so I can make sure they’re going to the right person. It’s such a sweet baby that is clearly domesticated and someone’s pet. And while I kindly thank whoever’s cat this is for pointing out a rather serious maintenance issue to bring to my landlord, like ASAP, I’d love to return the sweetheart back to its loving home. Securely inside those specific four walls. ❤️
