Put articles of your unwashed clothing or its bedding for scent outside somewhere dry. Since cats move more after dark till dawn, take a flashlight when it's real quiet outside. Shine it in trees and bushes in the area, under decks and look for eye glare. If you have a garage leave the door cracked with clothing above, water only, no food to not attract other animals. They're usually closeby hiding and won't meow when you call, as they instinctively hide from predators. A big sign in the yard and flyers, check with neighbors. Not everyone is online. Check www.nextdoor.com and Pawboost are a couple others besides the shelters. I always read that people say to go to the shelters personally.
