Message from Owner

Hello everyone, my cat has escaped from home. If anyone sees him or has him, please let me know. I last saw him in Reservoir, between Powell Street and Spring Street. He is neutered and microchipped, but he wasn't wearing his ID tag. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I’m sorry your cat is missing 💔 Go out tonight and start searching and calling for your cat when it’s very quiet and your kitty will hear you call their name. Your cat will be close by. Try anytime from 11 pm - 5 am. Take a powerful torch with you. If possible go out twice in the night at diff times. This has worked for me before and has been a very successful technique for others too. From tomorrow, try approaching your neighbors. Put up posters. Leaflet neighborhood if possible at least 1-2 streets on either-side of yours, that’s how my missing cat was identified on a neighbor’s property. Go door knocking, at least 3-4 houses on either side of yours and across the road and street behind. Speak to those neighbors and personally deliver a leaflet of your missing cat to them. Your neighbours may pay more attention if you speak with them. Ask your neighbours if any CCTV footage may have been captured of your cat, this can be really helpful in tracking your cat’s movements. Contact local council, vets, pounds and shelters. Post on other Facebook Lost pet/cat sites for more exposure. Your cat will be close by, from personal experience, one of my missing cat’s was located at my next door neighbor’s house and another time several years ago, my cat was just one street away. Make sure to report your cat missing at Central Animal Records, or which ever organisation your cat’s microchip is registered with (there are a few diff ones) that’s how my cat was found and prevented a stranger from changing ownership of her. I hope you find your beautiful kitty 🙏🏼❤️

Also leave door ajar if it is safe to do so as sometimes they will return themselves… make up little flyers and put them in peoples mailboxes to check their sheds as some people don’t have social media 🤞🤞

Hopefully hiding nearby. Night time walks are super important

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

I’m so very sorry to read this. He is a beautiful furry baby. Keep looking and calling in your street and surrounding streets especial all through the early hours of the morning. With five days gone he may have moved a little further from home so extend your search. He will be very frightened in the new and alien environment he’s found himself in and may not initially respond to your voice BUT don’t be put off as that doesn’t mean he’s not there. Praying for your beautiful boy to be home safe with you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Ask neighbours to check all locked garages, sheds, cellars. Have read that by putting out some of your worn clothes they might find there way home by scent🤞 Also post on local web sites. Sharing
