My mom had to leave a domestic violence situation last year. We just found out at the court date on the 23rd of February, 2026 that my dad "lost" Midnight. He still has the other cats though. So hoping he actually just got out of the poorly made catio. There's no contact between parties and that is all his lawyer would tell her. We don't know when my dad lost him. I am guessing by choosing last November. The court awarded custody to my mom. Thanks for helping. I'm hoping it's not the worst case scenario. My mom thinks the vet registered Midnight's microchip for her but I am unsure, so I am thinking it wasn't registered if she didn't get a username or password to the microchip site.
