Bought a hse in Wayne twp and someone left this baby girl in the back yard. We bought her food and water but can’t keep her. Super sweet and not aggressive, didn’t even bark once since we found her.

Is she safe?

Please vet everyone. There are dog fighting rings in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. You can be sending her to her death.

Some people are absolutely terrible! Why would anyone abandon an animal like that? Nobody is required to get a pet so why get one if this is what you are going to do to it? Thank you for being kind to her…perhaps you could find a way to keep her and make her part of your family? She looks so sweet and deserves better than what the former owners did. If you can’t keep her, I agree with the commenter who suggested trying to get her into Indy Humane on Michigan Road where she may be adopted. If you send her to IACS (animal control) she probably won’t make it out of there alive. Prayers for her safety and a loving home.

Please do not give her away like that. Who knows what she has been through, and doesn't need the risk of someone mean or chaining her up or any other terrible thing. Please contact IndyHumane and request a surrender appointment so she can get her vaccines and any other care she needs and be adopted into a home. Thanks for caring for her. Please make sure she is safe.
