No unfortunately this is not him. Looks a lot like him but I spoke with the people who found this guy. They found him a day before ours went missing. This guy is a younger blue is about 6 years old

Immediately place unwashed items of clothing with strong familiar scent outside your front door area and hanging from a tree to attract pup back home, dogs can follow the scent from far away. Ask neighbors to check surveillance cameras footage, post on Nexdoor and Ring to reach more people, report to shelter as lost and check in person, if chipped call chip company. Check with homeless people some like to keep stray dogs. Hope pup is found safe. Keep in mind fireworks will continue, keep him indoors.

For Blue’s people: You have likely done this already but if not, please post flyers in the area where Blue went missing, and knock on doors. Not everyone is on social media. You might also ask folks to check their security monitors... Might capture something useful the footage. Also remember to check the Pawboost FOUND and SIGHTINGS listings, also remember to check with local animal shelters. And phone to ask their current protocols. I have heard that visiting in person to review their intake logs is the best way to get accurate information. Also consider posting to Nextdoor. I hope to read a positive update on Blue soon!
