Message from Owner

Rue came to me through the cat distribution system and is part of our family that just recently grew in size. She helped welcome our first baby 6 months ago who she loves so much and he loves her. We are incomplete without our sweet kitty

🐈 I have gathered these suggestions from many years of personal experience. Check the local shelters. Someone may have taken her in. Talk to your neighbors someone may have taken her in or given her shelter. Check neighbors garages and storage sheds she may have sought shelter from fear or bad weather. If you haven't already done so put a sign in your yard with a picture and phone number that way if someone finds her they will know you have a lost cat. Also try putting food, litter box, hervbedding and clothing with your scent on it nearby outside. She may be able to find her way home by familiar scents. Most cats that get outside accidentally don't go far from home. Be sure to look up. Check trees and bushes. Try going out about sundown around your neighborhood and call for her. Walk and call and listen for her. Take a can of cat food like fish, pop the top, tap it with a s, familiar sounds may bring her running to you. Cats tend to move at night so be watchful after dark, she may try to come home but no one is awake to let her in. Don't give up hope, cats have found their way home after being gone a very long time. Cats are amazing! I hope these suggestions will help to bring your pet home. Prayers that you find your missing cat very soon...so pretty and I know you miss her.

Try calling at night/dusk when less noise. Check under house, cars, in bushes, trees, garage and shed. Check with neighbors to please look in garage and sheds. Put up flyers not everyone has internet. Call Animal Control, Vets & Shelters/Rescues. Sending prayers that your kitty returns home.
