We saw this poor injured cat in our Ring video at 6:00 am Wednesday, 10/28. We have never seen this cat in our Whitney/Utah neighborhood before. I snapped a couple of pics before it got scared and squeezed through a gap in the fence around 10:00 am. It must have been resting there from 6:00 am until 10:00 am. It may be seeking shelter in someone's back yard nearby. A neighbor reported seeing it Tuesday evening on the side of the road on Herndon near Clovis Community hosp, and, thinking it was dead, stopped to pick it up. It was not, so intending to seek help for it instead, they brought it to family at Whitney/Trenton. Unfortunately, the cat was scared and escaped the car upon arrival, limping away from the driveway at around 7:00 pm, and crossed the street to another hse on Whitney. On Thursday at 11:00 pm, Ring video shows the cat leaving from some bushes at 2252 E Utah and crossing to 2253 E Utah. Neighbors have been notified to keep an eye out for this injured baby who is in an unfamiliar environment!
