I'm so very sorry 💔 Try a humane cat trap- it worked for us when our kitty got out 🙏

Put out something that he's familiar with that carries his scent (a bed, a blanket but NOT a litterbox). CALL FOR HIM IN THE QUIET, STILL HOURS (11pm-7am). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT (5am seems to be the luckiest hour)!!!!!!! Scared cats move around while the rest of the world is still. Put out food in intervals (not at night) when you can keep an eye out. Talk to your neighbors, generally, they don't go far and find an open garage or shed to huddle down. If these suggestions don’t work: lost pet cats may not respond the way you’d expect your beloved kitty to and they may not just come to your calling so be prepared to have to use a humane trap (he will return to himself once he’s back inside) and put signs in your local pet store (if someone takes him in they will need litter and food). I hope you find him 🍀

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap on amazon, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street and wouldnt let anyone near her. I saw she kept coming around the doors at night and if i didnt have other pets, i would have left the door cracked and that may have solved it. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope

If chipped contact your microchip company and make sure your information is updated and file a lost cat report there Some people suggest leaving a door open alittle bit may come home on there own Put something with scent there also Bedding your unwashed clothing Litter box anything that has your cats scent Cats are night creatures May try to come home early morning while dark and try to get back inside This works well Also Go outside and sit down on the ground so she can see your face not feet and calmly call name If likes treats shake bag and listen for meowing could be stuck in a garage or shed or under porches Put out a sign in your yard with pictures and contact information Not everyone has internet access or Facebook. Flyers everywhere Check out the neighbors and let them know that your kitty is missing Don't put food out it might attract other cats and animals and scare your baby away If all else fails put out a HUMANE trap then with wet food or tuna and cover with a towel to keep calm and warm if caught and check it out every 2hours and don't leave overnight unattended You can face the entrance of the trap towards a window or door door keep a better eye on it Prayers sent 🙏
