Message from Owner

Please help me find my Nugget. She is 2 years old female gray tabby. Her left year is tipped. It has been more than a month now, it really breaks my heart every time I come back from work. I hope she's okay out there. Thank you. Jannatul

Jannatul Mawa Nijhum what probably happened was, someone trapped her thinking she was a "community cat" (for TNR) and the clinic discovered she was already spayed so they tipped her ear so she wouldn't get trapped and taken to the clinic again. Best of luck finding her ❤️

Suzy Creamcheese When I got her spayed from paw partners I didn’t get her ear tipped. This happened last year when she went missing. I got her back but her ear was tipped, still don’t know who did that and why. Thanks for the suggessions. I will make sure to do these

Jannatul Mawa Nijhum ok, I was wondering because she has a tipped ear. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Since she's not microchipped, give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case she turns up. Ask your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Look up in trees in case she was chased. Walk the neighborhood in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call her in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if she likes that kind of stuff. She's probably hunkered down and hiding nearby, but she may not answer you when you call - that's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators. Put her beds/ blankets and some of your dirty clothes on your porches and around the perimeter of your yard. When she comes home, please get her microchipped and be sure to register the chip online. If she likes to go outside, maybe consider building or buying a catio (some people have bought pre-made chicken coops and "attached" them to their houses with kitty access through a window - that way she can be "outside" and be safe). Good luck ❤️

Is she microchipped? Indoor only, or indoor/outdoor?
