Message from Finder

Found this sweet boy in Silverlake. No chip. He’s so cuddly and wants to be in your lap constantly he’s the perfect dog to foster or adopt. I can’t take him in sadly and don’t want him to go to a shelter.

Thank you so much for rescuing this pup! As a fellow dog lover, I wanted to urge you please try not to take him to a public shelter. Many are severely overcrowded right now and sadly have high euthanasia rates. It would be much safer to contact a local rescue or sanctuary, or see if someone can foster him because they are more humane. My hands are completely full right now—I already have my own dog and am fostering a lost pug we found until we locate the owners. Maltese-Poodles are truly the most loyal and beautiful dogs, and I want him to be safe. If it comes down to a worst-case scenario, I will ask my sister if she can step in. I'm not 100% sure she can, but I will try! If not, I’ll see if any neighbors or friends would like to help. Hopefully, a volunteer can step up to help you with this sweet fur baby!"
