Shellie Lewis thanks for taking care of this kitty I would hope that South Bend Animal Resource Center - SBARC would not euthanize a friendly cat, but you literally would have to go there and ask. Any outside shelter for cats people use straw vs blankets or anything like that as blankets hold moisture when it gets wet

Tina Mangrum I ordered an microchip scanner that should come tomorrow and made layered boxes, plastic, and fabric shelter she has been going into to sleep warm at night. Hopefully there is someone looking for her, she is a real doll. We've been petting her all day. Will see if an owner is found and try direct placement to prevent the shelter euthanasia rate going up +1. 🫣 I don't have any information on euthanasia vs adoption placement for lost pets for a South Bend. A nice cat foster lady told me it is very high. 😭 Her foster network is maxxed out right now.
