Ron Marshall listen brainiac, I responded to the Facebook pages post, not to an owner. Were you not perceptive enough to recognize it wasn’t a post from the pet owner? And I don’t care one bit about “feelings”, my message is to discuss the realities of “lost” pets to hopefully drive better owner responsibility. So your words are meaningless… I only care about the welfare of the animals.

Eric McGrane Have you ever owned a dog? No on can predict what a dog is going to do, it does not mean that the an animal is mismanaged. Even the bast trained dog can do unexpected things. I too care about the welfare of the animal. To berate someone that is upset about their missing dog, is vengeful and crass. Reply if you feel the need, but I am finished with you...

Ron Marshall thank you for proving my point. Since you already recognized that a dog may do unexpected things, it is the owner’s responsibility to manage those possibilities.  Real compassion is speaking truthfully so that fewer pets are mismanaged. I don’t really care about the owner’s feelings, I care about the welfare of the animal.
