Found/Stray Dog in Tremont, PA 17981

LOST DOG Found on the stretch between Tremont and Pine Grove. We’re hoping to find the owners, but in all honesty, she was not very well taken care of between needing a good bath, and still needing her toenails clipped. Not to mention, she was found with no collar and she is not chipped. So if you’re interested in owning a loveable pup, stay tuned for updates in the event we cannot locate the owner. We’re only able to hold her temporarily, and our local shelters simply do not have the room for her, as much as we know they want to. So please reach out if you’re interested, and if we can’t find the owners, and you’re willing to give her a good home, we’d love to give her a forever home. We’re calling her Penelope for now, but she’s been all too loving and very calm. She’s been in our care for almost 8 hours now and I haven’t heard so much as a bark. Seems shy at first, but has very well proved to be a very friendly and tolerant dog. Not sure how she will do with other pets, or kids, but in the event the owners aren’t located, we will try to give more updates on her behavior as she enjoys her stay here with us. Please repost in the hopes of finding her owners, or those willing to give her the good home that she deserves 💜
