Message from Owner

Hi everyone, I’m looking for my cat Finn. We think he got out of the hse sometime Friday morning or early afternoon, and we haven’t seen him since. This is really unlike him. When he has gotten outside before, he usually stays on our porch or right near the hse and comes back pretty quickly, so we’re getting really worried. Finn is extremely friendly and loves people. His front paws are declawed (this was done before we got him). He is microchipped, and we have already contacted the Jefferson County Humane Society to check if he has been brought in. We’ve also put his litter box outside and spent hours looking for him with wet food and treats, but haven’t had any luck. We’re on East Grant Street in Lake Mills. If you live nearby, could you please check grges, sheds, under porches, or anywhere he might be hiding or stuck? If you’ve seen him at all, please message me or call/text. We just want him safe♥

Drive around. And around and round. Cats usually will take the easiest Way to walk with the snow. Got a good spotlight?? Shine under cars porches sheds / everything. He may be right under ur nose. Or he may b blocks away. Get his picture out there as much as u can. That's the ticket. And lots of. Luck. do NOT wait around and hope he returns on his own. That would be great but it's best to search ur ass off. It's very stressful. So sorry. Hope he gets some safe

Be sure to check throughout your house - closets, drawers, behind or under things - box spring!! Sometimes cats get caught/trapped by accident - even in garages!! Check with neighbors to see if she may have gotten shut in a shed or garage by accident, because that can happen quite easily! Usually inside kitties do not go far because they get scared, so keep your eyes open for any action outside! Fliers at vet clinics, stores, libraries, schools - anywhere that will allow you to put them up!! Check shelters every few days IN PERSON!! Check with neighbors to see if this little one got shut in a shed or garage by accident. Do not limit your search area, because pets can travel for miles! Join your local and surrounding county exchanges for buy sell trade as they have many people on them that would continue to share!! And, "bump" your post!! Do not make new posts because that can be confusing, however, please keep in mind that groups may only allow a couple bumps a week, to keep everything fair for all! And, NEVER give up!!

OMG I know the feeling of losing a gorgeous cat that looked just like Finn a couple of years ago! I lost my Baby Girl, she got out of our apartment on Brewster Dr and ended up a mile away to almost downtown lake mills. I found her when she had just passed away and I am still crushed!!! I’m sorry to share that but I will help find Finn, I hope he comes home tonight on St Patrick Day!!
