Whiskers please come home, we miss you. We are trying to remain positive that our furry family member will come back home any minute, safe and sound. Maybe he is lost and could use assistance. Please, if anyone has seen Whiskers help us get him home. We love you Whiskey tango.

FOR INDOOR CATS: Between the hours of 11pm-2am walk around your block calling his name and shaking his favorite treat bag. Make sure to take a carrier with you as he will be scared. Contact homes around your block that have SHEDS or GARAGES. Kitties will seek dark places to hide and could get locked in. It’s warmer now, and neighbors may not open their shed/garage daily/weekly trapping kitty with no food or water.

Thank you for your tips. He is indoor/outdoor cat. Goes out every evening but comes back in a couple of hours to sleep next to his human every single night.

Is she Microchipped? If so notify the company that she is missing and make sure your contact info is up to date. Blanket your neighborhood with big bright flyers and ask people to search garages and sheds and parked vehicles like RV'S and other places where she could have gotten trapped inside. Search with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake and pop top cans of smelly food to pop open now and then. If she is not used to being outside then she is probably hunkered down hiding somewhere close by. Post on other places like Nextdoor and Craigslist and pawboost and lost petcolove org and Facebook lost and found pages but be aware of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find her and never agree to meet anyone alone. Borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and set it up baited outside the exit where she escaped. Keep searching and spreading the word.
