Hello, I have lost my best friend and would appreciate any help from any kind souls that may have seen him or if he was taking to a shelter. He was last seen either early very early yesterday morning about 6 am ( according to a family member with the memory issues therefore we cannot fully rely on that information) it at have been the night of the 17th rather than morning of 18. That is the last time I physically seen him myself as I let him in the hse before it got dark. Somehow he got out or somebody may have unexpectedly let him out. I have no idea what happened after I left, but I have not slept since I got back home yesterday. This is my everything. He’s my family my best friend my whole heart. Thankfully, I had a couple people help me do a search which came up empty yesterday and today. We have put up the flyers in the neighborhood as well as talk to our closest neighbors in case he possibly ran into a garage or something along those lines and got stuck there and it’s too scared to get out. I don’t want to think about worst case scenario, don’t think I can handle it. This kitty got me through everything and his been with me everywhere I would never leave him. I took him cross states, cross cities, I would never ever leave them just because a place “ doesn’t allow cats” that is a horrible mindset people have. He will be forever loved and taking care of. I just need to find him please if somebody has him or seen him please please please contact me. He’s very very vocal if he’s not afraid and if he’s not stuck somewhere or their dogs that are scaring him, that’s probably the biggest giveaway from him. Otherwise, he’s a tuxedo cat (no white markings on his mouth, I’ve been sent a few pictures already from different sites but no, he does not have the marking at all) she is about 8 1/2 years old and he’s a bigger boy. He’s probably about 10 pounds. He’s a sweetheart, but he’s probably terrified right now and I just need to find him guys. Please help me call me anytime of the day and night or text me. my name is Sophie. And again his name is Bruce, please be nice to him if you have him…. And please please please give him back to me. This is my family member. This is not a toy for somebody to take. Please give my cat back to me 💔

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Sophie Shcherbakova In talking to a pet tracker - he mentioned that leaving the litter box out and food attracts predators that could be hanging around the house (litter box and food source) so if the cat comes back then there may be a high probability that the predator can attack and the cat who is innocently returning home. Just passing what pet trackers recommend - just leave the scent of the owner out - sharing a success story - one girl sprayed her perfume on the 4 tires of her car and the cat was found under the car - and this shows that the cat smelled the perfume - the owners scent - and the cat followed it to the home.

Suzan Reynolds thank you so much!!! 🙏 I’ve done all but clothes with sent will make sure to do that. Thank you so much for your response. May I ask why the litter or food is not a good idea as I was told it is and I did leave his litter box outside should I bring that back in? Pretty much everything else on the list is done and more. 😞

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Hello guys I am the owner of the cat, I did not realize that the website automatically pushes my message or I would have added more detail details. Thank you so much first of all for posting my cat. And I just wanted to clarify that Blaine is the nearest cross street. So it’s basically all the way down by the mountains. The actual street we live on is called FLORAL AVE, Belvedere Drive is the other little street he may have gone down and then the MAIN st people would probably know is Blaine. Also when I said no markings on mouth I ment above the chin if that makes sense. (I am sorry I am sleep deprived guys, I cannot sleep thinking of all the worst scenarios that may have happened to him or that he’s scared somewhere. )Just wanted to add that for clarification as it’s a pretty long street to say thank you once again to anybody and everybody who may just have a lookout in the area 🙏💔
