Owners will have pictures, paperwork or a vet. Reference, y'all can call or go to together to verify ownership. Only the owner will have this information again. Ask for phone number and address and match it to their license and call their phone right in front of them, they have to prove ownership. No proof no dog, you just can't give it away to the first person that comes around you do that, and you'll be giving it right to the dog fighters and that's what they're looking for. If you don't find the owner in the next three days , take it to the humane society

Bad people and dog fighters will be the first to inquire they're constantly getting these dogs off these sites every day, they will have 0 proof of ownership, proving ownership is the biggest thing to keep these dogs at these dog fighters, hands, they won't have any proof they will use women and children to do their dirty work, women, children, everyone needs proof no proof no dog. Ask questions, questionnaire answers, it's not personal. It's safety that dog would be dead in 1 minute. If it ends up in their hands , they watch these lost and found sites everyday for post like this.. Ask for the phone number and address.Tell him you're gonna match it to their license and call their phone

Slow down one thing at a time. You need to immediately put up your found dog.Signs this old school way still works but you have to do it immediately. That is the key to these signs working in a timely manner immediately. I just did it twice in the last 8 months and both dogs got home safely.I put my signs up the owner.Put their signs up and within 1 day, both dogs were home. Not all of us were on the same page on the social media, but these signs absolutely work.If they're done quickly.. Grab 2 poster boards, brightly, colored, fold them in half. Cut it, cut it again. You'll have 8 squares. Use permanent marker, fill it out. Simply found dog and your phone number on it, put one up in the exact area. You found it in, put them on the cross streets nearby. And up and down the main road , nearest to that area immediately. Grab hammer and nails quick, fast.Cheap and easy for $5.You can get everything you need from a dollar tree
