According to our neighbors, this dog has been here since yesterday (9-11-2026). She stays around a hse under construction. She is not agressive at all, but won’t let us near her.

~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… Someone may have him thinking he was abandoned… Someone may have a camera that captured something… Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… If the dog is microchipped, call the company ASAP … Report you animal missing to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.
Abandoned or lost dogs that are fearful often just need someone who can consistently show up for periods of time and build trust. I hope someone in the area can make that effort and get her into a yard and on a leash maybe...that always helps.
