I was told by an animal tracker to put a blanket from my bed outside for kitty to catch the scent.

If Bebe is normally an INSIDE cat... then she is definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at NIGHT with a flashlight and look for her “glowing” eyes. She is VERY CLOSE to your house… most likely in YOUR OWN YARD. They usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees and CHECK UNDER EVERYTHING in YOUR YARD first… under decks, under sheds, inside bushes, wood piles and storm drains. Then check your neighbors yards. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND HER IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND HER EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. Bebe is so scared, she will NOT respond to you calling her, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find her. When cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. I hope you find your fur-baby very soon!

Put her bed/blanket or an unwashed article of your clothing outside, the scent will help her find her way home. (Experienced rescues advise NOT to use soiled cat litter as it can attract predators and aggressive cats.) If she's indoor only kitties she's probably close but hiding. Check under the house, porches, and in sheds and garages, anywhere she may be trapped. Ask your neighbors to do the same. Ask them, too, to check their Ring cameras. Search under bushes and shrubs with a flashlight, her eyes will reflect the light and you'll be able to see her. Best time to search is late night and early morning when it’s most quiet outside. Call her name softly and gently shake a treat bag. If you can, put up fliers throughout your neighborhood and report her as missing to local vets. Many people don’t use social media, so the shelters are often the first place they turn to. If she's chipped notify the chip company that she's lost and make sure your contact info is up to date.,

‼️Beware posts saying they are using drones. ALL THEY WANT is your money. Don't respond. If you check most people who recommend them are not local‼️
