all the small dog rescues keep them for money and charge like 500 bucks for small dogs if you want a good home and not for money i take her, I tried multiple times to adopt from these small pet shelters IDK what they do ? keep them i think for donations idk? You can only try so long they say there are so many without homes I cant tell.
