This intact male first visited my yard the last week of February 2026. Hejust past thru the yard. The second visit was maybe a month or so after. He was softly yowling and marking as he passes through. During these two visits I noticed that He looked pretty healthy. A couple of months past before I saw him again, but this time he was substantially skinnier (unhealthy skinny), had grown "tomcat jowls", and had picked up ticks, fleas, and something with his ears. At this point I put food out for him. I could not approach him as he was very skittish. From then he frequented my yard give or take every couple/3 weeks up until the end of August when his visits increased to 2-3 times a week. And that has been happening up until now. He now is staying multiple nights back to back....I am able to pet him now. This is a very sweet cat with an unmatched loving nature. I plan to take him to LAWS this next week as I already have cats of my own....assuming I am able to get him into a cat carrier, and he is here during the daytime. I was going to do TNR but honestly, I don't think he will survive the winter. He needs medical care and a loving home or to be reunited with his family! Please reach out to me if you have any information or any questions.
