In addition to this post, there are other things you can do to find her! It is VERY IMPORTANT to make a "Lost Dog" flyer and deliver it door-to-door through your neighborhood immediately. Include vets offices, parks, playgrounds, schools and any businesses that will let you put one up. Also post one on your car window, utility poles, bulletin boards and any easily seen public areas. Mention if she is chipped or wearing an ID tag. Put some of your unwashed laundry and bedsheet outside along with her blanket and bedding. She may be able to pick up the scents and make her way back. Do an online search "best ways to find a lost dog" for expert tips. FOLLOW the suggestions to increase your chances of finding her. She will be looking for water, so if you have a creek or pond in your neighborhood look for her in those areas. Go IN PERSON to either Animal Control Services or the Humane Society to see if she is there. They are overwhelmed with lost pets and may not recognize her. At that time also make a report that she is missing. You will need to be very proactive in your search, she has not made it back on her own, so she needs to be found. It will take time and effort on your part, I'm sure she deserves your utmost effort. She looks like a very fine and friendly dog. Praying.
