Not sure if this will help, but you could try.. Your cat is most likely hiding finding a safe space. Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Leave little bit of your windows 🪟open. So the cat may hear familiar voices. Put some of their toys 🧸outside as well. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the🐈 cat. 10 houses to the ⬅️ left 10 house🏡 to the right➡️ front ⬆️ and back⬇️ if they spot him to give you a call ☎️ immediately. Also, you can put up a Sign post 🪧with your 🐱📷 picture. In front of your 🏡lawn and to call you or contact you ASAP. Go early ⏰️ in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Check under decks and under neighbors vehicles🚗 Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor 📹 to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house 🏡. You can even ask your Local Pet 🐱 Animal Shelter to Rent out a Safe Trap and monitor it.. Post your ad on your phone app NEXTDOOR, & PAWBOOST too ! Praying for a soon safe return 🍀 of your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Go outside now with a flashlight and a bag of treats or some dry food to shake to get her attention. Use the flashlight and look down low under neighbor's decks and porches and anything the cat can hide under. Get down on your knees if you have to and look under bushes. The flashlight will see her eyes reflecting.. she's probably been hiding all day and when things are very quiet and dark, they're not quite so afraid and they come out.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.

Rebecca Jones Are you Ookie's pet parent? Please be cautions of scammers reaching out on here. There are two that I just called out below. They will ask for money to get your pet back, but then they will block you. Be safe. I hope Ookie comes home soon.
