If you haven’t already, please be sure to notify Seaside PD/Animal Control (Alex) as well as SPCA should someone take your cat to either of those places! Also be sure to ask all your neighbors to check their garages, sheds, etc. in case your cat got closed inside one! Key is to keep calmly calling your cat at all hours, especially the wee hours & looking for it, using a flashlight to help see its eyes…Check all around your house inside and out and under everything including greenery & especially in all dark places… Check high and low! Leave a door or a window open enough for your cat to potentially let itself back inside. Put some of your cat’s bedding or something with its scent on it (NO litter box) outside for it to smell, hopefully enticing it to head home! Try opening some smelly food like tuna (do not serve it in the can) or rotisserie chicken & shake a food/snacks bag often! 🤞🏼
