He came home of his own volition, up to the house door in our garage, at 2 a.m. ... YOWLING to come back in. He went limp in my arms while I hugged and squealed and kissed him. Then he ate wet food for 30 minutes straight. He lost about 2-3 pounds, and has some small injuries. Really wish I knew where he was that whole time!

Valerie Biagetti Murray I know, and I really appreciate every set of eyes helping me look! Thank you!

Jennifer Elyse I didn’t think it was but leave no stone unturned, right? I’ve seen dogs and cats mislabeled as male/female and a Beagle labeled as a Yorkshire Terrier. Shelter workers make mistakes (I used to work in a shelter) so I wanted to make sure this wasn’t your boy.

Valerie Biagetti Murray OH my GOSH, she is such a close resemblance in the face! Unfortunately, she's a girl, my Mo-Mo is a boy (albeit a neutered one). He also does not have a collar, and the tips of his feet don't have that much white on them. Good call though, she really is SUPER close!

Jeffery Masters Hey friend, I have been in domestic rescue for 30 years, and know all the tricks and tips, and I've tried them all so far. I have posted him on NextDoor, our neighborhood and local FB pages, and on Pawboost. Not one single sign so far. I am going back to our shelter again in the morning.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏
