Jennie Lewis thank you Jennie so much for the update! I’m so glad he is still in safe hands . It was really kind of you to take him in and make sure that he had a soft landing. We have two one of which was dumped a year and a half ago and we never did find his owners either and we ended up keeping him having him neutered and all of the things. I don’t understand why people dump their dogs, especially this breed. They are very easy to find proper homes for and there’s rescues, but just to dump a small dog /any dog out on the streets to fend for themselves it’s something my mind just cant process. People really sometimes! So thanks to you and your husband again for caring for him!

Sarah Windhorst luckily our garage is well insulated and stays pretty cool during the day and warm enough at night this time of year. We would have figured out something else if not. We did turn him over to pur Vet today where they checked him over for any health conditions and will keep him for the 14 day hold. Then if no owner comes forward, or he doesn't have an adopter, they have the option of the Indiana Bulldog Rescue who I had also contacted. So he is out of our garage now and will hopefully find a loving home.

Kathie Wheeler Sheets thank you. We surrendered him to our Vet today after learning the original owner who he was microchipped to did not want him back and it was believed the most recent owner dumped him or just let him run loose. I was tearing up learning this. Poor guy is so sweet and well behaved. Anyway our Vet took him in for the 14 day hold and will be checking him over to check for any medical issues. If no one claims him, he may already have an adopter, or they will be contacting the Indiana Bulldog Rescue who I had already contacted as well. We are so thankful for the offers of help. We don't own this type of breed and were so worried about his proper care.

Steven Lewis can you keep him in a separate room of your house instead of the garage? They are sensitive to the heat and with temps in the 70s this week it's risky to keep him in the garage unless it has air conditioning. The night time temps in the 40s are also not safe for Frenchies. If you aren't able to bring him in I can help. I hope his owners are found soon!

Lesha Haggermaker Reeves that was by me. But I don't know why he isn't listed as a Found dog, it does make it confusing. But still, an owner should recognize him and get in touch through that post. Thanks for your help.
