Message from Owner

We recently moved and today our cat got out and we haven’t seen him since. We’ve been searching everywhere. He ran off into the woods after climbing up a tree (my husband got him down and then he ran off). He is a very skittish cat he’s afraid of every sound and person. Please help me find him I am freaking out.

Put your clothes outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window.

Ask neighbors to check property he may have gone in somewhere and got locked in accidentally Check at dawn and dusk, they tend to hide and come out at those times. They usually don't go far from where they were lost. Ask around for anyone who feeds strays he may show up looking for food Hang flyers. Post on pawboost .com snd check their found section Search social media for local rescues. Call local vets, shelters, precincts. Check Craigslist and other sites that may sell pets Good luck
