Message from Finder

My niece found this dog and 2 other large dogs in her back yard this morning. The 2 big dogs ran away and were very skitish. My neice and nephew think the big dogs were dragging leashes. This cutie just walked in the hse and made itself at home. Very sweet and loving. We did call Greenhill and they are aware it has been found. They asked if we could keep it until we find its owners. If this is your pet please contact us with descriptions pictures etc to prove you own it. You can text me at 541 - two three one - 57 three nine

Such a cute little dog. Looks like a puppy. Best of luck finding the owner 🙏 And thank you for caring enough to give a safe haven for now. Very kind.🌸🙏

Darlene Long I saw a different post earlier of 4 or 5 puppies found. Maybe part of the litter?

You may have already, but post on Eugene and Springfield lost and found pats fb page . Mention location, cross streets. Also Next Door for non FB folks, go online and file report with Greenhill Humane Society. I found a pups family knocking on neighbors doors. 🐾🙏🏻 Be careful to ask for proof of ownership. There are dog fight groups in Lane Co that look for bait dogs. Also there is a legal timeframe to rehome a dog. Greenhill can give guidance.
