Found Friendly Young Black Cat — West Valley, UT Found in West Valley, UT: Young, friendly black cat who has been staying in our neighborhood. I have been feeding him and he has made our yard his home. I do not know if he has a home he is lost from. He is extremely gentle, affectionate, and clearly socialized to humans — not feral at all. He seeks human attention, purrs immediately, and enjoys being near people. He follows me around and seems desperate for companionship. He is neutered with a clipped ear, which means he may have been picked up by a TNR program and released back into the neighborhood. This suggests he could have originally been someone's pet who got lost. I am actively seeking his original owner. If you recognize this cat, please contact me immediately with proof of ownership (photos, vet records, or description of unique markings). If no owner is found: He cannot remain outdoors safely, especially with winter approaching. He is too trusting and affectionate to survive as a community cat. He will need a loving indoor home with someone who can give him the attention he craves. It breaks my heart that my situation doesn't allow him in my home to keep him safe i would love that so. Also the date found is only an estimation. It could be earlier or later. Please share this post to help find his owner or a new home, and contact me on Pawboost if you recognize him!
