Message from Owner

Has anyone seen this cat? He is a strikingly beautiful dark grey and white cat and is very friendly. Clyde was last seen at his on Philatelic in Spring Hill, in early April. When he went outside he would always return. He never stayed out all night. He was my friend’s buddy. I am his cat sitter and also love Clyde dearly. If Clyde decided to take up residence elsewhere and he is with you, my friend will be happy just knowing that he is safe. I also know that he would be delighted if you wanted to send him .

Conduct a very thorough physical search of the area expanding out about 7 to 8 houses in radius to yours. Cats do not travel very far so you will need to ask your neighbors if you can check their yard thoroughly. Check under porches, in garages, under cars, in bushes, etc.. When cats are displaced into an unfamiliar area, the cat is most likely hiding in silence, often not far from the escape point, and they will not meow! This is because cats are territorial and their primary protective measure from predators is to hide in silence. Set up a feeding station with a cellular trail cam in the back of your home if you can.

Erin F Kolodziey-McNally Do you realize how many people I’ve told this to that don’t know this? And it is helpful because if or when they get their cat back, they will know not to let it out or this could happen.

A cat that is allowed to be outside and doesn’t come home can usually fall pray to coyotes, bobcats, becoming sick or injured unable to come home and possibly dying, being hit by cars or stolen.
