Kevin Maclary It is strongly recommended to not put a litterbox or litter outside as that will attract dominate cats and predators( we have coyotes & bobcats here)which will keep your cat away and can put it in danger. Safer to only put items with owner's scent on them outside- tshirts, towels or socks. If you actually lived in Florida instead of California, you would know how dangerous your advice is which is akin to laying out a scent trail to attract predators. Stop doling out your uneducated advice and putting people's pets in danger.

***POST NEXTDOOR, RING NEIGHBORHOOD, PET FBI, PETCO LOVE LOST, PAWBOOST, PAW GUIDE APP Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT, CHECK BUSHES 1st!!! Check window wells, under decks, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases, under BBQ covers, behind firewood. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on neighbor's doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Kevin Maclary No Litter or Litterbox s. You do not live in Florida- you are a California resident. Quit doling out dangerous information- stay off Florida groups- you don't live here or know anything about this area.

Escaped cats often hide close to home but may be too scared to come when called. Be sure to check all possible hiding spots around the outside of your home. If you go out after dark, you can use a flashlight to check for kitty eyeshine. Also, post on Nextdoor. Good luck! 🍀

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
