Just a little information about Paisley. She is an indoor dog who loves to sleep in my pillow and wrap herself up in blankets. We have a doggie door that all three of my dogs use as well as my cat. We have had her for 15 years with no issues of her getting out of the yard, lost or digging herself out. Early this morning there was a huge commotions around 2 am and all the dogs in the neighborhood went crazy. I went out to see what was going on, found nothing and brought all my animals back in. Paisley apparently thought she needed to go back out and investigate and that brings us to today. She is not kept outside. She is loved by us and is missed immensely. I’ve posted for help finding her if you see her. We don’t need to be made to feel any worse than we already do that she is missing. Thanks for being kind

I’m asking the same question….a 16 year old dachshund or a dachshund period shouldn’t be left alone out all night…😡

Very sad she got out in this heat. Especially, with her old age why was she left outside at night. Dachshunds are not outside dogs. Just wondering 🤔
