I'm sorry that Lefty is missing. Often they haven't gone far from home and are hiding nearby so check with your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, etc. Consider putting missing flyers in your neighborhood. Also check online at the Humane Society/shelters/rescues near you. Look for them and call for them after it gets dark (around 5:30pm) and around dawn (6:30am currently) as that's when they move about. Make sure that their chip information is up to date! Put out food, water and a camera if possible. There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox or if you use scoopable litter even the clumps but if my kitty were lost I'd give it a try. Otherwise put out a piece of your clothing and one of their blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet.
