This from a few months ago. What have you done since then to look for Toby? Did you do flyers, check with neighbors, leave food out? Here is my advice. Post should have nearest cross streets, contact number or email, cat's name, markings, , and if the cat has collar, tags or chip, or special needs (, elderly). Mention if it is an indoor escapee or indoor outdoor cat and if it is friendly or skittish. Use a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Chances are it is not far away. Dusk is a good time to do this. Look under cars, decks and porches and bushes, storm drains. Check for tracks in the snow. Leave dry food and canned smelly food like tuna or sardines and water. In the winter, use a heating pad or put chemical hand warmers between two paper plates daily to keep wet food warm. Ask your neighbors to check their yards and check their ring cam footage, sheds, garages. Post on nextdoor and any neighborhood facebook page. Ask people to bang on their car hoods to make sure the cat is not in the engine. Do flyers to each neighbor and make 50-100 flyers. If you are in an apt complex, post flyers in public areas like mailboxes hallways laundry garbage bins pool etc. notify apt management and maintenance so they can watch for the cat as they do work around the complex and the office can send an email to the residents You may need to do it for neighboring apt complexes too.
