1. Post on Next Door. Talk to neighbors who may not be on social media. 2. If microchipped notify the company. Be sure information is current. 3. Post flyers on neon colored poster paper and put in plastic zip lock bags. 4. Look under houses, porches, decks, grills and bushes. 5. Look up in trees. Look in garages, sheds, drainpipes, driveway culverts , under cars and in sewers. Leave garage door propped open just for her. 6. Go out with a strong flash light to reflect on her eyes. 12 midnight-5 am is best when cats most active. Call calmly and take treats. 7. Set up outdoor camera to see if coming up about $35 Walmart. 8. If seen coming up set a have -a-heart cat trap. Borrow from a rescue or buy at a tractor supply. Bait with canned mackerel or sardines. Put a tarp or dark towel over top not the ends so cat can breathe. - sync a trail camera to watch from your cell phone. Take cat out once inside . - don’t leave trap unattended overnight! 9. Indoor cats are usually hiding or stuck within 3-7 houses or 50 yards unless they hitched a ride. 10. Put out water so cat can survive. 11. Set out worn clothing of cats favorite person. Do not put out litter it can attract predators and strays. 12. Go to all shelters in person every day or two. Wake County and SPCA. Shelters are full so “ making space” . Hold times short. 13.
