UPDATE: I found this sweet girl around Spring Trails, and I've been caring for her while trying to find her family. They've already checked for a microchip but she doesn't have one... Unfortunately I can't keep her, but I am glad to have found her because it gave me the opportunity to get to know her, I know it sounds corny but she is so very sweet. Probably the sweetest dog I have ever met, and I've met plenty. I'm sad imagining that her owner is missing her, she definitely had an owner, she is well behaved, potty trained, very affectionate, and so far is good with other dogs. She knows how to play with toys, knows how to go into the kennel, likes being inside mostly. The only downside I’ve noticed is that she doesn’t like being alone. She cries when left by herself, although I’ve noticed that it has gotten better and better with time. Maybe she’s still a little traumatized from whatever happened when she was lost. I tried other shelters and they are full. I think smaller dogs have better luck. Not sure if it's because she looks scruffy, but I assure you she is ❤️ all heart. I saw another post in Pawboost about her, someone else had already seen her around this area and had reported it. She is such a loving, gentle dog, and it’s hard to imagine that someone isn’t missing her. She deserves the chance to go home to the people who love her rather than ending up in a shelter. I’ve been trying to find her owner, but unfortunately I’m running out of time. If you recognize her, know who she belongs to, or have any information that could help get her home, please reach out ASAP. Please share this post, even if you don’t recognize her. UPDATE: I currently have her, but unfortunately, I cannot keep her. I rent, and I’m doing everything I can to help her while we try to locate her owner. I have also filled out the appropriate form with Montgomery County Animal Shelter Texas (MCASTX). She appears to have been lost for several weeks, and so far, I have not been able to locate her owner. About her: Potty trained Very well behaved Extremely affectionate and loving She really enjoys being around people and wants to be close to her person. She has separation anxiety. If she doesn't see anyone around, she cries and become distressed. She may even have difficulty eating when she feels completely alone. It seems like she may have previously been with her owner almost 24/7, so being alone appears to be especially difficult for her. She would be ideal for someone who is looking for a loving, affectionate companion and who has the time, patience, and understanding to help her work through her separation anxiety. Someone who works from home, is home often, or simply wants a dog who loves being by their side could potentially be a wonderful match. I am still hoping to find her original owner. If you recognize her or know who she belongs to, please reach out to me. If her owner cannot be found, I am hoping to find the right person or rescue who can give her the loving home she deserves. 🙏 Please share to help us find her owner or the right home for her.

She is very skittish, I sat with her for almost one hour last night. She took some treats out of my hand but I couldn't get her leashed without her spooked.

If you can please have checked for a microchip. It's free and any vet can do it. If someone claims him make sure they have proof of ownership. Vet records, etc.. If they show pictures be careful as those can now be AI generated. Some people will lie like you wouldn't believe to get a free dog to do horrible things to it..
