Message from Owner

Speedy has never been gone this long, and I’ve been looking for him daily. His sister ( littermate) bonded with him when they were newborns and haven’t been apart in their 3 years., and isn’t eating. My grandson is as worried as I am, please help me find him. If he is found deceased, please let me know, so I can bring him .

Andi Smith I searh mostly at dusk and nighttime. We have a gas pipeline field behind our house, where they like to explore, and I keep walking through it, calling for him. He was always sleeping in my grandson’s playhouse when he was outside, and that’s right beside the back fence, full of his scent.

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.
