Get lots of signs up, and post on neighbourhood/community groups as well as ‘Toronto Lost and Found Cats’. Also file a lost report with Animal Services/local shelter(s). Keep checking all groups and sites daily. A good list of things to do is on www.catsinthebag.org (click on the link itself). If your kitty is microchipped, make sure it is registered and the company has your up-to-date information (and notify them your cat is missing). And some good information is here : www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes, in garages, under vehicles and hood or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884
