Looking for a home for this gorgeous stray gray cat that has been caught on video making nightly visits to a home with a catio that has cats in the Friendly Village community in Simi Village. The cat wants to be friends. The cat also came to my home but my idiot cat drove him off with is yelling and hissing. The gray cat looked totally perplexed like what did I do wrong. This cat has been making these visits for the last 4 weeks. Not sure of the . We can trap it and have it vetted and fixed but would like to have a home lined up first. I made flyers and posted them, and I have posted on Simi Valley Missing Pets but no one claimed him/her.

Ava is a male! My late brother named him, I think he thought Ava was female when he got him as a kitten. 😊

Hafiza Douglas I will definitely keep you posted. Is Ava a male or female cat? The name "Ava" is generally a female name but your posting says the cat is a male. Just curious

Hafiza Douglas The cat that I saw is currently MIA. He/she shows up at night on a RING video that another neighbor has. It hasn't shown up for a couple of days. I do have a humane trap and pet scanner. Hoping and praying that it shows up on video again.

This looks very similar to my missing cat. Any chance you can trap it and have it scanned for a microchip? Or trap it and I can have someone come scan it?

Barbara Weiner Brodsky You come across as being very knowledgeable about cats (and dogs). The other lady who I am working with (Mikki) are looking for someone who will make this gorgeous cat an indoor cat. Once we have found a home for him/her, we will have the cat scanned (I have a scanner) and then brought to the vet for a wellness check along with vaccinations. Then the kitty will be ready to start a new life. Do you live in the Simi Valley area?
