Message from Owner

My sweet tortoiseshell cat, Cleo, went missing today near the Wyndham Hobby Airport Hotel (Houston, TX 77061). She isn’t just my pet she has been my family and my source of comfort through some of the hardest moments of my life. She stayed by my side throughout my military service, through deployments, long days, stress, and now my transition out of the Navy. When everything else felt uncertain, she was always there waiting for me.I’m absolutely heartbroken and just want my girl home. If you’ve seen her, even for a moment, or think you may have spotted a tortoiseshell cat in the area, please contact me immediately. Every lead matters. Please check under cars, in bushes, around sheds, and anywhere a scared cat might hide. She may be frightened and hiding close by. Even if you can’t help search, please share this post. One share could be what brings Cleo home. Cleo, if somehow this reaches the universe… I’m looking for you, baby. Please come home. ❤️

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. A neighbor five doors down kept the flyer and after 6 weeks when I had given up she called and had spotted my cat hiding in the front bushes exactly where I'd called for him dozens of times.. best to call when it's quiet like at night

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for her.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as she may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for her to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere she can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call her name or use whatever sound gets her to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for her safe return home 🙏

Cleo please come back home. Check your neighbors garages, all who give you permission.
