Walk the block sometime between 1am and 3am with a torch and gently call their name. They may be scared and hiding close by

Many times cats get found within a close vicinity (a few houses, or streets or blocks) from where they went missing 🤞🏼 I always post this in the hope that it can help- especially to alert owners to possible scams.
