Message from Owner

His name is Draco, he is friendly, he is a hse cat and escaped when I was taking my dog out. He's 10 and I've had him and his brother since they were babies and I know if I don't get him back I will lose his brother too. They are inseparable. I was a teenager when I got them, I even have his print tattooed on my wrist.

Pull up 35th Avenue and McDowell and zoom in on where the cat is lost. Put a pin on the map. Take a screenshot of that And put it with the pictures of your cat when you post. Sometimes people don't have any idea where something is they need to see landmarks in the area. The best place to post to find a pet is these two neighborhood apps. Download both of them and get a post up on both of them immediately. Extremely important! After your post goes live comment on it two or three times. I usually put things like please help me find my cat! Reward $50 Has anyone seen this cat? I don't want him to get hit by a car please help Things like that that Garner attention and get people involved. Then make your flyers. That's a heavy Hispanic neighborhood. It's also a heavy homeless populated area. People that speak Spanish are typically not on the apps and the homeless likely not either. So for these people you need to put up flyers. On your flyer do not use a Lost Pet poster! Do not. You want one picture of your cat that clearly shows what it looks like as big as possible. Crop out the wall the floor the grass the carpet the tile the other Pets the people you only want your cat in the picture. At the top do not put lost cat. Put reward 40 or $50 your phone number and the picture of your cat. That's it! Print about 40 of them and put them heavily around your house. Most cats are less than 10 houses from home. That's basically the length of a neighborhood street. If you want put one on every garage door on your street. People will walk over and tell you they saw your cat if there's 40 bucks on it. Then do the street behind you because cats often Go over The back fence and get lost and then hide because they're scared. Since he's an indoor only cat he's probably terrified and hiding somewhere. When they're in this level of fear they don't come out even when the owner calls them. For this reason you need to knock on doors after people get home from work and tell them I have a $40 reward I'm looking for my cat. Could you please check your backyard looking your bushes or any sheds to see if he's hiding there. Stay there while they go check! Never say can you let me know and leave! They forget. They won't do it. You won't find your cat. So do this on your street and the one behind you. If you still don't find him do the one across the street in front of you. Same thing Flyers with the reward.
