Message from Owner

I've tried making several posts on this site but it kept giving me errors for some reason. My cat, Kevin, is missing. I feel as if he is safe and maybe he found another place where he is being fed, but I'm not sure. Or he might be lost and doesn't know how to find his way back home. He is a chunky boy and fluffy. He's a white and orange Manx-mix cat with a very short tail. Please keep a lookout for him in Fountain Inn in these areas - Fairview Church Road / Fairview Road / Watson Road / Nash Mill Fountain Inn area. These areas can be heavily wooded and he could be lost in the woods somewhere. Let me know if you have any leads and thank you!

Brian Jeter Thank you for having him neutered. If you haven't already, put up flyers everywhere as many people aren't on social media. Since he's not microchipped, give flyers to every vet clinic, rescue, and shelter in the area in case he turns up. Since he's outdoor only, ask all of them about any local TNR groups and community cat feeders, and give them flyers too, in case he turns up at a colony somewhere. Having his picture in their hands will help keep him at the forefront of their minds. Ask all of your neighbors to check their cameras, garages, sheds, and crawlspaces. Ask all of them within walking (and short driving) distance if they had any visitors or contractors doing work on their houses around the time he went missing. If so, call the visitors and businesses and ask them if they had an accidental stowaway. Walk the neighborhood (for as far as you can) in the wee hours with a flashlight and look for glowing eyes. Call him in a regular voice (not panicked) and gently shake a treat bag if he likes that kind of stuff. Look up in trees in case he was chased coming home. If he's injured or scared, he's probably hunkered down and hiding and he may not answer you when you call. That's just instinctual, as a vocal cat gives away their location to predators, and an injured cat is prey. Put his beds/ blankets and some of your dirty clothes around the perimeter of your yard. When he comes home, get him microchipped and be sure to register the chip online. If you can't take for your allergies and keep them inside (I am allergic to cats and dogs and take Allegra every morning), then you should at least make their home with you safer - if your yard is fenced-in, put up cat-fencing or coyote rollers on top of the fence to keep them safely in the yard (both are DIY). Build them a shelter(s) to keep them warm in the winter. Good luck ❤

Suzy Creamcheese yes, he's neutered. Not microchipped, unfortunately. He's primarily an outdoor cat since I am allergic. I took him and his brother in when some friends needed to rehome them. I took them to give them the best life I could provide for them without them having to go to a shelter. They stay in the garage whenever they don't want to be outside.

Is he neutered? Microchipped? Indoor only, or indoor/outdoor?

Put some of your worn clothing outside so he can smell your scent. Prayers he finds his way back home.

Post on Nextdoor and look at night with a flashlight. His eyes will glow. If found, please consider indoors-only. We have coyotes in this area.
